Well, actually it could be almost any of us. Summer is the time when we all focus more on body hair, some to a greater degree than others. So what about fall and winter? Most of us relax a little bit, and save the bigger jobs, like legs and bikini lines, or for men their backs and/or chest, for that special date that might lead to something more, or perhaps the winter vacation to a warmer place. But listen up, winter is not the time to forget about hair removal. Rather its the perfect time to plan ahead for the next summer season.
Winter and fall is a good time to consider permanent, electrolysis, and semi permanent, laser, hair removal methods. Both methods require a little time. Sessions are usually spaced a few weeks apart, and how many sessions youll need depend on what area of the body and how much hair is to be treated. You also need to keep the treated area out of the sun between sessions, and right after treatment is completed, what better time to this than winter.
If youre thinking about waxing, or using rotary epilators, fall and winter is also a good time to start. This way youll get the used to it before summer, when youll have to do it more often. The hair will also grow slower and less noticeable, especially if you use a hair inhibitor right after you wax or use the epilator. A hair inhibitor (like the one from Kalo) is great in the winter. No matter what your preferred method of hair removal might be. Because in the winter you might not want to spend as much time thinking about hair removal. Hair loss in children is actually not very common, however it is significant enough that nearly 2 Million children suffer from at least one form of Alopecia (hair loss) or another in the United States alone. The good news is that at least 60% of children with Alopecia will “outgrow” the condition without need for treatment. As with all forms of Alopecia, a reversal and complete restoration of hair takes time - sometimes up to a year or more, but for the vast majority of children, it will spontaneously resolve.
